The clew strap is one of the most effective clew tie down system in use today. The easy to use velcro strapping technique provides the strength that is needed in all conditions to pull the sail down to the boom. The design insures less friction then other methods such as rope tieing so that the tie down slides easily along the boom
The outhaul sleeve is a metal clew tie down which fits around the boom and slides up and down, amazingly, with almost no friction and noise. The use a simple hook to connect to the clew and include a pulley so you can add extra purchase by going back to the fairlead at the end of the boom.
The dolley makes the laser an amphibian creature as this is how it moves on land. The standard stainless steel alloy dolley comes with the two wheels, pins and brushes. But make sure you put you name on it!
